- Pondicherry Chemicals is a SSI Unit,
commenced its commercial production by
July,1992 with a capacity of 1500 MT per annum manufacturing Aluminium Sulphate
(Alum).
As on date, the capacity has been
increased to 15,000 MT of Non Ferric Alum per annum.
Pondicherry Chemicals is the first ISO
9001:2000 certified organization in India within the Manufacturers of Aluminium
Sulphate. Now, it has been upgraded to ISO 9001:2015 Version.
It has laid down the procedures for
Quality Management System as per ISO since 2002 till now continuing.
Pondicherry Chemicals is a professionally
managed proprietary Organisation. The proprietor is a Metallurgical Engineer,
having worked in Steel and Non-ferrous industries for a period of more
than 15 years. He had been deputed to France by Steel Authority of India
Limited as a member of Know-how Advisory Committee.
The company is managed by the technically
qualified and experienced person, and has full -fledged Chemical Laboratory
to test the Rawmaterial and finished goods manufactured
by it, as per the procedures and Quality Plans.
The unit is continuously making profit
right since 1992-93.
The company has got the Best Industrial
Relationship Award from the Government of Puducherry for the two consecutive
years.
